Fodor's Review

This friendly, comfortable family-run hotel has magnificent views of the Pantheon at a relatively gentle price. The recently updated rooms are all white with hardwood floors and contemporary furnishings.

Don't Drop the Soap in the Shower Old World Charm Room

The view was to die for! From our window day or night - watching the people in the square, the stolling musicians, the tours going to and from the Pantheon, the quaint cafes made this location all the better. It was definitly in walking distance to most attractions. We didn't understand why we had to turn off the electric when we left the room but our key had a plug to turn on and off the electric!

Can't beat the view!!

We just returned from a stay here. We were very pleased. The hotel has undergone a rennovation and the rooms were nicely appointed, but small. The size didn't bother us, though, since we spent our time seeing Rome! Our room overlooked the Pantheon, and breakfast was included at a restaurant in the piazza--what a great place to start your day! The staff was helpful when we asked for things, but didn't go out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

No problem using credit cards. You can't beat the location. Besides being right at the Pantheon with great restaurants and people-watching, it was within convenient walking distance of everything we wanted to see--Vatican, Ancient Rome, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, shopping, restaurants, etc. We would stay there again!!

Bella Roma on a Shoe-string

Perfect location, no frills. We've stayed in both attic rooms which were cheap and basic. Lots of atmosphere if you are prepared to rough it; the nearest bathroom was down 2 flights of stairs. However the beds were comfy enough, and who wants to spend their time in Rome in a hotel room? Watch out for the elderly doorman who's a tad gruff - the signore were lovely though.....and yes we're thinking of going back
