One of the city's finest hotels, the Sitea is ideally located in the historic center. Decorated in a warmly classical style, the public areas and guest rooms are elegant and comfortable. Top-notch service is provided by a courteous and efficient staff. Weekend rates are slightly lower. Pros: Central location, well-appointed rooms, large bathrooms. Cons: Some find the a/c noisy, carpets are a little worn.

I agree with all of the points in the Fodor's review above with the exception of the worn carpets, which we did not encounter. (We did not need a/c in May, so cannot comment on this). An ideal location and highly competent and welcoming staff, combined with very comfortable rooms, make this a great bet in the Piemontese capital, a beautiful city untainted by mass tourism.
