The 10-story atrium—a mix of glass-capsule elevators, blinding mini-chandeliers that run the length of the reception desk, cascading greenery, and an actual prop plane suspended over a fake library and a tiny bar—is impressive albeit not at all representative of the city it's in. Quintessentially Budapest, however, are the postcard views across the Danube to Castle Hill. Rooms have plush maroon carpeting and silky down-filled duvets.
