Tabáni Gösser Étterem

Tabáni Gösser Étterem Review

For a refined Hungarian meal without all the kitsch of hanging peppers or pomp of crystal chandeliers, check out this favorite eatery in the quiet Tabán area just below the Castle District. There's not much to the interior, but the excellent marha pörkölt (beef stew) with red wine and borjú paprikas (veal paprikash) draw regulars for Sunday lunch. There's a pleasant terrace facing a park for dining in nice weather.
