Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra Review
Considered one of the best in Europe and right up there with the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the Hungarian Radio Symphony—which was founded in 1943 and goes by the name "Budapest Symphony Orchestra" on its foreign labels—has been bestowed much praise from critics worldwide, especially for its Beethoven concert series. Also well known for playing and recording Hungarian contemporary music, the orchestra has toured 45 countries on four continents thus far. The orchestra regularly plays at the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy and the Budapest Convention Center.
