To say that this red-stone building, built in 1713 to serve as the storehouse for the Venetian fleet, is "well constructed" is an understatement; its arches and windows are remarkably well proportioned. It has housed the regional archaeological museum since 1930, and holds artifacts from such sites as Mycenae, Tiryns, Asine, and Dendra. As of this writing, the museum is closed for restoration until further notice.
