Fodor's Review

Perhaps the most opulent of St-Tropez's luxe hangouts, this balustraded white villa and its broad annex sprawl elegantly along a private waterfront, wrapped around an isolated courtyard and a pool shaded by parasol pines. Louis XVI bérgères, a beam here and there, gilt frames, and oh-so-comfy beds make for an alluring if somewhat homogenized interior, while at the large seafront restaurant, Vague d'Or, chef Arnaud Donckele has a celebrated reputation and was awarded his third Michelin star in 2013. You'll understand why after one taste of his sea bass with summer truffles and crunchy potatoes. Rates for summer season include breakfast (otherwise €40) and lunch (without drinks). Pay extra for a seaside room, where you can lean over the balcony and take in broad coastal views.
