Getting Here and Around

The rail station (a 15-minute walk from the Old Town walls) receives more than 15 daily trains from Rennes (55 mins, €15). Buses based at the gare routière, immediately outside the walls, link St-Malo to Dinard (30 mins, €2.50), Cancale (30 mins, €1.25), Dinan (55 mins, €2), Rennes (2 hrs, €5.70), and Mont-St-Michel in Normandy (75 mins, €11). April through October, ferries operated by the Compagnie Corsaire (www.compagniecorsaire.com) also carry passengers to Dinard (10 mins, €7.60 return).
