Captain Cook Memorial Museum

Captain Cook Memorial Museum Review

Filled with exhibits documenting the life of the famous explorer and those who sailed with him, this museum is in the 17th-century house that belonged to ship owner John Walker. This is where Cook lodged as an apprentice seaman from 1746 to 1750. On display are mementos of Cook's epic expeditions, including maps, diaries, and drawings.
