This small inn has a thatched roof, flagstone bar, and other 16th-century features while bedrooms are individually furnished and make the most of the original beams, exposed brickwork, and stone fireplaces. There's an extensive garden to sit in, and the sea is a 10-minute walk away. Locally sourced gastropub dishes (such as beer-battered fish and chips or an eggplant, chickpea, and tomato curry) are available daily and local craft beers are a speciality. The place is extremely dog-friendly, so anyone with an aversion to Fido should stay away.
