Mad Max Tours. During spring and summer, Mad Max Tours runs full- or half-day tours through the Cotswolds departing outside the Abbey Hotel near Bath Abbey and going through some of the main Cotswold highlights. Depending on the chosen itinerary, this can include Stonehenge, Castle Combe, and many of the area's prettiest villages. Mayor of Bath's Honorary Guides. Free two-hour walking tours of Bath are offered year-round by the Mayor of Bath's Honorary Guides. Individuals can just show up outside the Roman Baths. Tours are Sunday through Friday at 10:30 am and 2 pm, Saturday at 10:30 am, and there's an additional tour at 7 pm Tuesday and Thursday from May to August.
