Fodor's Expert Review Parkhotel Golf

A room at this stately villa, 3½ km (2 miles) out of town on the road to Karlovy Vary, requires some advanced booking. The large open rooms are cheery and modern. The restaurant on the main floor is excellent, but the main draw is the 18-hole golf course on the premises, one of the best in the Czech Republic, opened in 1905 by King Edward VII. The spa treatments are ideal for golfers, too, and including paraffin wraps for the hands and peat wraps.
