Fodor's Review

A modest yellow Jugendstil façade conceals one of the city's most luxurious small hotels. Once a budget hotel, the building was gutted and lavishly refurbished in the mid-1990s. Now it's a member of the luxury Golden Tulip chain. The rooms are a palette of primary colors: blue carpeting, pale yellow walls, and red bedspreads anchor traditional furnishings. The Pohořelec tram stop (tram no. 22) is practically at the front door, making trips into the center quick and easy,

or you can walk downhill through the vineyards surrounding the Castle.

The Savoy has Savvy

Old style small hotel with all the best values. Beautiful room, very quiet. Heated marble floor in bathroom. Really helpful cheerful staff who care. Free afternoon tea from 4 to 6pm. Good position with the 22 & 23 trams stopping right outside and running every 5 minutes into the centre. 5 min walk to Prague castle. Good breakfast. A treat of a hotel

Savory Savoy

The rooms are good size but without a view. Room Service is provided by inexperienced staff (students?).The restaurant is expensive but the food is the best Praha has to offer. The chef is a magician!

Savoy will Spoil You

Just got back after staying at the Savoy. Our junior suite was very luxurious. The marble bathroom was large and very well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the service was outstanding. The hotel is so very conveniently located. Tram #22 & 23 are at the doorsteps of Savoy and will take you to the city center. Savoy really spoilt us :-)

a real find in Prague

We loved the Savoy; spacious, very clean rooms with marble baths, great massages and exercise equipment, and a nice location by the castle. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and there is a very good breakfast buffet that is included in the hotel rates. An excellent value.
