Musée des Sciences Naturelles

Fodor's Review:

The highlights of the Natural Sciences Museum are the skeletons of 14 iguanodons found in 1878 in the coal mines of Bernissart—these are believed to be about 120 million years old. It has a fine collection of 50,000 stones and 30,000 minerals and there are also displays on mammals, insects, and tropical shells, as well as a whale gallery. Unfortunately, there's little information in English.
