Alan and Cynthia Clovis have created an intimate, tranquil oasis that draws guests who return year after year. At this holistic retreat, even the cabanas have been designed with pitched roofs to help "maximize your energy potential." Souls who wish to atone for an excess of rum punches the night before can do some yoga the next morning. The bar and restaurant are in a bamboo pavilion and welcome local entertainers on weekends. Choose a garden room for a more peaceful stay;
those near the pool can be noisy. The complex is near the airport, Store Bay, and Pigeon Point but is not on the beach.

My holiday at the Kariwak in Jan 2002 was just perfect!The staff are friendly and helpful.The resort is beautifully clean and immaculately maintained.The food is so sumptuous you want to lick the plate!Not a place for party bunnies but second to none for anyone seeking relaxation, wonderful surroundings and a feeling of perfect harmony with nature.A swim in the outdoor jacuzzi at night under the stars and moon is heavenly!Store Bay beach a short stroll
away-by far the best beach on the island.Fishes swim with you right on the beach!And very clean.Don't bother with the crab and dumplings though!Are heavy going!
