Fodor's Review

Something interesting happens nearly every night (it's closed Monday and Tuesday) at this hipper-than-hip, no-frills, wood-paneled performance space, be it an early evening play, poetry reading, or talent show or, later on, a band playing Latin jazz, Cuban son, Puerto Rican salsa, or rock. On Wednesday nights, the owner plays the conga drums with the house salsa band, Comborican. During breaks the youthful, creative crowd chats in an alley outside. There is usually a $5 cover.
