Miró

Miró Review

Like its namesake, the painter Joan Miró, this restaurant draws its inspiration from the Catalan region of Spain, where the cuisine is heavy on seafood and hearty tapas. Start with steamed clams with garlic or braised chorizo and peppers. (If you're here at the right time, you might get to try regional favorites like razor clams or baby octopus.) Main courses include sizzling lamb chops, as well as salmon in a sauce of Cabrales cheese, or arroz negro with mixed shellfish. Prints by the artist hang on the walls, adding an authentic touch to the maze of tiny dining rooms. If you prefer, you can also dine on the more casual front terrace. Daily brunch is available, and there's often live Spanish music Thursday through Sunday.
