Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel & Casino Review

This hotel's triangular shape subtly echoes the cruise ships docked nearby. Rooms facing the water have dazzling views of these behemoths as they sail in and out of the harbor. (Interior rooms, however, face concrete walls.) The plushly furnished rooms, all non-smoking, have nice touches like custom-designed beds, 42-inch flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi. On the top floor you'll find a sunny patio with a pool and whirlpool bath, as well as a spacious gym with the latest equipment. Facilities here include two restaurants and a casino, which dominates the lobby.

Perfectly Affordable for those who want to Walk Old San Juan

If your goal is to spend days exploring Old San Juan's many treasures, you can't do better than the Sheraton - particularly for the price. The rooms are basic rooms, but who's spending time in the rooms? The bar is comfortable, the casino open about 21 hours a day is a fun diversion after dark. You're also ideally located in front of the taxi stand, one block from the easy-to-use bus station and one block from the ferry that takes you across the bay to the Bacardi factory.
Convenient and affordable with a touch of class.
