Polished wood and brushed steel give this newcomer a sleek, sexy look. It's hard to resist the curvy banquette in the front dining room, but on a cool evening it's even harder to pass up a table in the enclosed rear courtyard. The food here isn't about throwing together a lot of different ingredients. Instead, the kitchen turns out a well-traveled menu of classic dishes like crispy dusk with plum sauce, osso buco with braised vegetables, and lamb tenderloin in a raspberry sauce. Not that hungry? There are plenty of smaller dishes that are perfect for sharing, such as quesadillas with smoked chicken.
