About 5 mi (8 km) south of El Yunque in the town of Ceiba, colorful birds—the same ones from nearby El Yunque—flutter through Ceibi Country Inn's tropical foliage, and you can catch a glimpse of Culebra off the sunny patio. Under new ownership since 2009, this charming inn hugs the rain forest and takes full advantage of the area's gorgeous greenery. A seascape is available from several of the simply furnished rooms—just ask for Room 1, 2, 8, or 9. The warm yellow common space where community board games, a barbeque grill, and small library are located make the place feel like home.
