Fodor's Review

A newcomer to the South Coast, this boutique hotel on the outskirts of Treasure Beach is an excellent choice if you want complete relaxation. The guest house is low-key, and quite chic, with crisp white linens in the rooms. The sea-view rooms are high above the small sandy cove, where the crashing waves lull you to sleep—sunsets from the balconies here are breathtaking. The hotel has a nice on-site terrace restaurant, which makes good use of the fresh local seafood and

organic produce from nearby farms. Relax by the pool or beach-side. There are horses for treks to the nearby, undeveloped Fort Charles beach, and kayaks to take out and explore the coastline. There is also a beach bar and barbecue area.

The Cove Jamaica

The Cove is very relaxing. There is a private beach cove, fresh water pool as well as a seaweed pool. 1 mile from Fort Charles Bay which is a beach that is great for walking 11 miles long of pristine sandy beach. The hotel is 4 miles from the Treasure Beach strip. Staying at The Cove you have a choice of a relaxed atmosphere and if you choose to go into "the strip", they will provide transportation for you. The rates are excellent as in the food

and service. Going back this year for sure.

A real treasure

The cove jamaica is now my favourite hotel of all time. A great spot situated down on the South Coast along from Jakes in treasure beach. I stayed there with my family for 2 weeks and had an amazing holiday, full of fun-filled days such as bbq's on the beach: fresh fish, lobster or chicken, horse riding on the local fort charles beach and tourist trips like taking a boat over to the pelican bar to watch the sunset. The Jamaican staff are very friendly

and made our stay very special, deffinately one to remember. The rooms are wonderfully bright and fresh, our three bedroom villa had an enormous outside lounge and terrace with incredible views of the Caribbean sea. The trip provided a great oppurtunity to mix with the local community at jack sprats and strikeys. I cant wait to go back and visit the hotel and area again, the atmosphere made the hotel like a home from home.
