Five years in the making, the wait was worth it for the pizzazz of this new five-star condo complex in the dunes of Kite Beach. This is the good life, as one sits at the pool, shaded by a golden market umbrella and watching the parade of multicolor surf-kites in the big blue ocean. You can take out a kayak or boogie board or just bob around with a pool noodle. The stucco facade of these three-story buildings is attractive; all the condos have expansive terraces and outdoor dining areas. Yet the interiors outshine all, with the fully equipped, Italian designer kitchens being the best attribute, especially for those who want to stay in for dinner. The 4-bedroom/4-bath 4,000-square-foot penthouses are tastefully luxurious and worth the extra money if you have a larger family. Mind you, the two-bedroom condos are 1,800 square feet. The two buildings are identical. The reception office and concierge for both projects is in the second phase, in a thatch-roof structure. The concierge can arrange pre-arrival grocery stocking and nanny service, too. Pros: Gorgeous views, quality building materials, elevators (!). Cons: A 20-minute beach walk to most restaurants, no breakfast or meals available on-site.
