All rooms have four-poster beds with Frette linens, a furnished terrace, and a large flat-screen TV; some have dramatic ocean views. The remarkable stone bathrooms have porcelain basins and high-end bath amenities. The pool snakes through the grounds, making swim-out suites an alluring option, but the impeccable beach is a winner, too. Service is super-attentive, and the resort can organize helicopter tours/airport transfers, or simply lend you a DVD. There's no buffet dining here, in keeping with efforts to avoid any association to high-volume, low-budget, all-inclusive. The ambience in the three petite dining rooms is high-end, as is the cuisine-with a few lapses. This is an adult-oriented resort, and although children are allowed, there is a substantial nightly rate charged, and there are no organized children's activities.
