Ranches and rustic living characterize this little beach village, which has coconut groves and a stunning beach where development is continuing to press north of Macao. A couple of newer, small boutique hotels have popped up here. A new road being built from the airport should cut down the hourlong trip by car. Nevertheless, to the most exclusive outposts, there's always the option of coming by helicopter.
