Top Attractions

Colonial architecture. Havana is home to some of the most spectacular colonial architecture to be found anywhere in the world. Many buildings may be crumbling and dishevelled, but this gives them a stoic, tenacious appearance.

The Malecón. Havana’s atmospheric esplanade is the place to be when the sun sets, watching the streaking colors over the Bahía de la Habana. Families, couples, and friends all come to enjoy the show, making this one of the best spots for people-watching in the city.

Vintage cars. One of the most iconic symbols of Cuba is the classic car, the majority of which can be found in Havana. A drive down the Malecón in an open-top rose-colored Cadillac is a quintessential Havana experience.

Music. Music is the soul of Cuba and in Havana you’ll find it everywhere—pulsating through streets, floating out of restaurants and bars, performed in hotels, and of course beating in the clubs.

Habana Vieja. Old town is packed with enough colonial treasures, magnificent buildings, and cultural museums to make it the must-see neighborhood in Havana.
