Rosedon Hotel Review

Expect a tranquil, refined environment and friendly service from longtime staff at this bright, blue-shuttered, white manor house in the center of Hamilton town. Inside the main house, built in 1906, three traditional rooms have 12-foot ceilings and antique and reproduction furniture, though no balconies. The two-story building behind the main house is newer, set alongside a relaxing tropical garden. Rooms here have bamboo floors and flat-screens, and some have four-poster beds and love seats. All rooms have either balconies or patios from which you can enjoy the garden setting and a central heated pool; it's easy to forget you're downtown. Rosedon has no restaurant, but a full breakfast is brought to your room or umbrella-shaded table, and there's a free traditional afternoon tea.
