Old Bahama Bay Resort & Yacht Harbour Review

Fishing enthusiasts, yachters, divers, and families can relax in relative seclusion at this West End, Guy Harvey Expedition Resort, comprised of beachfront and poolside suites decorated with island charm. Rooms include TVs and Wi-Fi along with full and half-kitchenettes and laundry facilities. Guests enjoy the complimentray use of bicycles, kayaks, Hobie Cats, and snorkel equipment. Although endearingly intimate and individual, Old Bahama Bay has all the amenities of a full-grown, self-contained resort, including a casual beach bar, a dockside restaurant, the newest Stuart Cove dive shop, and a customs office, making it one of the Bahamas' top small marina properties.

Great destination by boat or by airtravel!

We spent two nights in a junior suite while docking our boat in the marina. Amazingly you can have two different experiences in one location.

Ending our boat travel of 10 days, we docked and immediately began enjoying the resort experience from our oceanfront junior suite enjoying the beautiful stretch of quiet beach, paddleboarding and frozen drinks at the tiki bar on the beach.

The pool is amazing and we found the time to explore the property on bike, plenty available for all ages! Great opportunity to check out some of the private waterfront homes at Old Bahama Bay.

The experience at Old Bahama Bay is difficult to beat. You can find privacy or social gatherings whenever you like, the marina really comes to life at night with the Dockside Grill becoming the place where the marina community meets the resort guests, and all always seem to enjoy being there when the catches of the day are brought in by the fishing guests.

It's not too far from Freeport, acres and acres of well manicured grounds, well kept full service marina and while dining options are limited there is enough menu varieties to satisfy the appetites/tastes of all. Not to mention you'll easily get hooked on one or two favorite dishes. They will also cook your catch and include sides of your choice for a great price!

Old Bahama Bay at Ginn Sur Mer Review

I've been going to West End and Old Bahama Bay for over 10 years now - it is the highlight of my year! You can walk right out the door of your amazing suite right onto the beach. We love stopping and getting some groceries on the way and using the kitchens in the rooms - really makes it feel like home - and the STAFF - wow, the nicest people on the planet.
