Fodor's Review

This stretch of pink sand was Club Med's famed beach before the resort was destroyed by a hurricane in 1999, and will soon be home to the new French Leave Marina Village. The gorgeous Atlantic-side beach is anchored by fantastic bistros like the Beach House and Tippy's. The wide expanse, ringed by casuarina trees, is often deserted and makes a great outpost for romantics. Amenities: food and drink. Best for: solitude; swimming; walking.
