The more upscale choice of Divi's sister all-inclusives, this resort is favored more by couples and honeymooners as the newer 60-room tower with its own pool and bar offers up some excellent sea views; there are four super-luxe two-bedroom oceanfront suites with whirlpool tubs. The entire resort has been modernized and refreshed top to bottom over the past few years, and guests at both resorts enjoy access to the complex’s 10 restaurants, nine bars, four pools, and nightly entertainment. Complimentary shuttle transportation between the two is a plus as the resorts literally sprawl along half a mile of gorgeous Druif Beach. Free nonmotorized water sports, a modern sea-view fitness center, a climbing tower, and a beach bar that’s also open to the public all also add to the appeal and the Alhambra Mall is within easy walking distance for late-night casino action.
