Janice and Brent Davies keep a spotless, fully carpeted, central-heated, quiet, comfortable guesthouse in a classy suburb overlooking Oriental Bay. Their luxury 1900s-character home feels rather like a boutique hotel, offering everything it shows on its website and more. Two rooms have en suite and one has a separate bathroom, all have the benefit of caring hosts and a quiet environment. A real winner is the separate lounge and dining room, complete with books and satellite TV, DVD, and free Wi-Fi access, plus a lovely view over Wellington City and the harbour. Parking is available on the property, or there is a bus stop outside the door with a 5-minute ride to the central city or 10 minutes to the airport.
