Fodor's Review

The Qualmark four-star units at Whatamonga Homestay have been custom-built for guests with kitchenettes and balconies overlooking the sea.Whatamonga is a sheltered bay just a short, 10 minute drive from Picton. From the lounge you can watch the ferries pass and hear fish splash. A water taxi can pick you up from the jetty if you want to do a cruise around the Sounds or get transport to the Queen Charlotte Track. A private jetty, kayaks, a dinghy, and golf clubs are available

to guests. Kids are welcome by prior arrangement. Price quoted is for the minimum two night stay.
