Barbary. This 1920s yacht, believed to have once been the property of golden-age film star Errol Flynn, has short cruises departing at 10:30, 2, and 5. They take in giant carvings on a lakefront cliff face and, depending on the weather, let you swim off the boat when it's moored. Maid of the Falls. Board the Maid of the Falls for a Huka Falls cruise. She leaves from Aratiatia Dam, 10 km (6 miles) north of Taupo, at 10:30, 12:30, and 2:30; a 4:30 trip is added in summer.
