Fodor's Review:

This well-maintained lodge overlooking the thermal Kuirau Park is a 10-minute walk out of town. You can take advantage of the area's natural heating by soaking in the thermal pool for free. Rooms range from shares for four or five people to single rooms for $35. Meals at the café are a steal as well. Pros: Nice quiet location, you could snag a chalet with an en-suite. Con: It's quite a walk to town.
