Huka Lodge Review
Set in 17 acres on the banks of the Waikato River this lodge is the standard by which New Zealand's other luxury lodges are judged. Large, lavish guest rooms have French doors that open to a view across lawns to the river. In the interest of tranquillity, they're not equipped with phones or TVs, but both are available on request. Pre-dinner drinks, a five course dinner and country breakfast are included in the cost. Two separate cottages are the height of luxury. The lodge can arrange practically any activity under the sun.
