Once a missionary's home, this early-1900s building is now an elegant B&B filled with Asian antiques and other artwork. Each room has a thematic bent, such as butterfly-decorated wallpaper and China Blue's Asian inflection. The latter is a honeymoon favorite, with a four-poster bed and an antique Chinese chest. There are plenty of gracious touches, from chocolates and fresh flowers to sherry in the guest rooms and predinner drinks. The ferry to the city leaves regularly from the bottom of the road—a five-minute walk. Pros: Quiet, warm hosts, lovely food. Cons: Decor is fussy, very few good restaurants close by.
