Several hundred meters above the north coastal road is Tahiti Iti's lush agricultural center. Visitors will be shocked to see cattle grazing in the landscape—if not for the tropical trees, one might think they were in Normandy. There's a lookout here (the Taravao Belvedere) where you can see for miles across the isthmus to Tahiti Nui.
