Health & Safety in Huahine

Huahine is a very safe place to spend a few days. But, as there are no streetlights beyond the main street of Fare, be careful walking or cycling along the roads at night. Carry a flashlight or lantern. Conversely, watch out for cyclists and pedestrians on the road after dark and use your high beams when driving.
