Mamanucas & Yasawas for a Day

South Sea Cruises. For a taste of the Mamanuca and Yasawas island groups and its resort experience, you can choose one of many day trips offered by South Sea Cruises. All departures are from Denarau Marina. The Mamanucas are a closer destination and trips there include the island resorts of South Sea, Castaway, Mana, Malolo Treasure, Bounty, and Amanuca. Each includes lunch ranging from a BBQ buffet with salads and fruit, to two-course table-service depending on the resort, use of the resort facilities, snorkel equipment, and transfers from Nadi and Coral Coast hotels. Once at Botaira, you'll have about 2½ hours to swim, snorkel, sunbathe, and kayak on the island in addition to having a leisurely two-course seafood lunch with the option of lobster for a bit more money. The trip departs from Denarau Marina at 8:30 and returns at 5:45. It costs US$95 for adults and US$55 for children, or US$107 and US$67 including a lobster lunch. Waya Island. The Waya Island day trip is distinguished by a village tour but there's also time to snorkel, swim, and relax on Waya Island (part of the Yasawas) and have a BBQ lunch at a hostel. The trip departs from Denarau Marina at 8:30 and returns at 5:45 with additional pickups at Bounty, Treasure, and Beachcomber Island resorts. It costs $130 for adults and $69 for children and includes pickup from Nadi hotels.
