Hailed as one of the best eateries in Darwin, Hanuman offers an Indian-fusion menu with a firm focus on seafood. Indoor seating is air-conditioned, with low lighting and a sophisticated feel once the sun sets. The alfresco seating is a great choice for lunch. This is the sister restaurant to the Hanuman in Alice Springs but the menu isn't the same.
Located at the end of Stokes Hill Wharf, and in a great spot to catch the sunset, this casual restaurant specializes in all things seafood, with dishes like local wild-caught barramundi, lobster mornay, and crumbed calamari on the menu. Kids ages 10 and under eat free for every adult main meal purchased.
This polished pizzeria and bar in Darwin’s vibrant Waterfront Precinct provides reflective views as you drink and dine in the open air. With toppings like truffled mushrooms and roast pork belly with smoked bacon, toffee apple jam, and crackling, this isn’t your average pizzeria.
Named after the owner’s daughter, this whimsical waterfront spot along the Cullen Bay Marina serves pub-style favorites like burgers, pizzas, and, of course, chips, in a circus-inspired setting complete with carousel horses (some which can be used) and other retro-style, nostalgia-inducing decor. It’s a great place to take the kids and your young-at-heart friends.
Darwin’s got a vast Greek community and this foodie hot spot is a celebration of Kalymnian cooking traditions handed down from generation to generation. With a simple white and blue decor, the focus here is on the food, and the approach is mezethes-style dining, or having plates of food to share with your friends and family.
Uninterrupted views of Darwin Harbour at East Point Reserve, Modern Australian fare, and a carefully considered wine list make this restaurant a favorite with locals and visitors wanting a special night out. Dine inside with views of the harbor through large glass doors, or sit out on the tiered timber decks beneath the stars.
