Lime & Pepper mixes fresh seafood, tropical fruits, and bush-tucker ingredients, such as native finger limes and Davidson plums, in innovative dishes, with a worthy wine list and tropical cocktails. Lunch, dinner, and the five-course degustation (A$159 per person, with matched wines) menus change seasonally. Stand-out entrées might include grilled Gulf of Carpentaria tiger prawns with a coffee-lime dressing, or lemon-myrtle-marinated Grimaud duck breast on orange risotto, with asparagus and vanilla foam. Desserts are suitably elegant as well. The cuisine might be sophisticated, but kids are catered for with their own menu. Service, with the odd exception in peak periods, is attentive and knowledgeable.
