Kayaking, Surfing, and SUP

Hoi An's water sports are governed by the weather. From March to September the tranquil sea, river waterways, and tiny tributaries are perfect for idle sunset paddling while observing the flow of local life on the water. A few companies based on the An Hoi peninsula provide both kayak rentals and tours. Stand-up paddle and surfboard rentals, classes, and tours can be organized throughout the year.

Hoi An Kayak Center. Based out of a small riverside arts and crafts café on the An Hoi Penninsula, Hoi An Kayak Center can arrange a whole host of kayak and canoe adventure tours designed to get you close to nature and far from the crowded streets of Hoi An. Tours are offered for every level of paddler and include instruction, safety equipment, and trained guides to help unravel the mysteries of life on the river. Kayaks of all sizes can also be rented outside of tour hours, from as little as 200,000d for two hours.
