There's no better place to watch the world go by than on the first-floor terrace of this trendy riverside ice-cream bar and restaurant overlooking Old Town. Holding the title of Vietnam's biggest ice-cream parlor (they serve over 50 different flavours), this French-Vietnamese restaurant also serves a surprisingly good menu of healthy salads, pasta, delicious Hoi An specialities, and American diner–style burgers and waffles, with an ever-changing daily specials menu based on seasonal market ingredients. Out back is a bookstore and gallery that features owner Rehahn's photography and independently reviewed visitor information. To avoid being hassled by street vendors, get a table upstairs.
