Bungalows here come in all permutations, from fan-cooled and cold-water-only to air-conditioned, with hot water and all the standard amenities. The beachfront rooms are the best of the lot. It's a short walk along the beach to the best swimming spot, but the sand gets so hot you'll be glad to have the pool outside your room. Shaded massage beds and southern Thai–style elevated dining tables with chill-out pillows and peaked roofs by the beach help you keep your cool. There's even a little hippie beach bar that sells shell necklaces.
