Phitsanulok's newest luxury hotel, which opened in October 2009, is an attractive ensemble of Sukhothai-style chalets built around a palm-fringed tropical lagoon. Some have their own private pools. Rooms are decorated in placid pastel shades, contrasted by bright silk. Deluxe rooms have romantic four-poster beds and masses of silk cushions.
