One of Chiang Rai's most popular restaurants, the large and friendly Moom Mai has live Thai folk music most nights. You eat at closely packed teak tables, where contact with the locals is guaranteed. The menu features Northern Thai specialties and Chinese-influenced dishes such as deep-fried chopped prawns in dumplings.
