The best thing about this upscale hotel is the delightful garden, so be sure to ask for a room that looks out on the swaying palm trees surrounding the free-form swimming pool. The spacious rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows that let in lots of light, as well as bathrooms with showers and bathtubs. The on-site Japanese restaurant, Genji, is excellent. This is a popular hotel for weddings, conferences, and parties, so it may not be the most tranquil of retreats.
