Fodor's Expert Review Café Sundance

Owned by the same crew that brought Italy to India with 212, this bright, bustling burger joint has quickly become one of the crown jewels of the South Bombay eating scene. Burgers and beer are the name of the game here, but the experience in delivering quality European fare shows in items like the four-tier vegetable lasagna, the crisp and salty french fries and the many varieties of salads. The portobello mushroom burger, built around a crunchy patty and packed with Camembert, comes recommended, as are the blackened fish-and-chips. The restaurant also has a handy location, just a stone's throw from Churchgate station and Eros, one of the city's classic art-deco movie theaters.
