Moti Mahal Delux Review

This old-fashioned family restaurant serves North Indian comfort food. It's an update of an Old Delhi classic, Moti Mahal (now under seperate management). The meal of choice is butter chicken, otherwise known as chicken makhni, a tomato-based Punjabi classic that sticks to your ribs. The basic chicken curry is also good. There's no plain rice here; the so-called "plain pulao," zesty rice made with cumin, has a kick of its own. All meals are served with spicy little pickled onions. There are many other locations.
