Grace Beijing Review

Formerly known as Yi House, this unique concept hotel was once home to a crystal factory; today, however, the red-brick Bauhaus structure has been transformed into a stylish boutique hotel. French-colonial and art-deco touches are peppered throughout, with contemporary artworks hanging seductively in the beautiful, minimalist rooms in a clear nod to the hotel's setting in the heart of Beijing's Dashanzi (aka 798) art district. There are few more attractive hotels in the city and its location places you directly inside one of the capital's most creative hubs. Browsing 798's galleries, bars, shops, and cafés is a delight, although you are, admittedly, a bit off the beaten track.
