Fodor's Review:
This fashionable hotel forms part of the Lufthansa Center, together with a department store, offices, and apartments. It's within walking distance of the Sanlitun bar area, with its dozens of bars and restaurants, popular Ladies' Street, and Lucky Street, home to more than a dozen moderately priced Western and Asian restaurants. There is an excellent German restaurant here, the Paulaner Brauhaus, which has its own microbrewery. A deli, with an outstanding bakery frequented by expats, is also on-site. We love the newly designed Kranzler's Coffee Shop, which has an excellent Sunday brunch. A gym and swimming pool are on the 18th floor.

Very nice and sleek business

I spent some quality time at the Kempinski. Located in the northeastern part of Beijing, it's perfect to do business with a lot of international companies. In addition, the location provides great access to the airport, which avoids being in a traffic while trying to catch a morning flight. Service and public areas were top-notch. Rooms are very clean, comfy and well-maintained but have decor from the last century.
